The brain
contains the equivalent

4 living thoughtware programs in
your brain.

BrainView Training
and Surveys were
developed by Susan Fox, CH, CBT,
AA
founder of BrainView Training
Institute, providing a way of
improving your effectiveness in
life situations. You begin
by first understanding how you
personally engage with the
world, through the way you use
your own habitual patterns,
brain functions and filters.
Recognizing and
understanding specific habitual
patterns and dialogue styles is
very revealing and helpful in
dealing with, and interacting
effectively with others.
Once you understand
individual BrainViews, you
easily begin improving your
family, personal and business relationships.
Did
you know that the human brain
contains 4 brain quadrants
containing the equivalent of 4
living
computer software programs?
(I call
them
thoughtware
programs
because we
activate them using thought.)
Imagine,
you think… and each brain
quadrant reacts or responds with
its individual intentions
regarding that thought.
So when we
think, we think
AT LEAST
like 4 people - in one body!
Your Thinking Style is Unique!
Your brain thinks and makes
decisions interpreting your life in a
particular, naturally preferred
brain sequence order. The
preferred sequencing order of
your brain adapts to, and
changes when necessary, depending on the situation.
Did you know your brain's 'lead' (strongest or most noticeable) brain
quadrant prefers to communicate
and be recognized uniquely, in
it's own preferred thinking
style?
You are
supported by all 4 of your
brain's quadrants, although you
will very likely recognize a
thinking style below that is most
similar to the thinking style
you use most often.
Depending on your thinking style, when you interact with other people who
do not communicate in YOUR
thinking style, you may or may
not remember some of the
information. Your brain is
very powerful, and tends to
'edit' or filter information,
and pay attention more
completely when words are spoken
that interest and engage YOUR
unique thinking style!
Understanding Your BrainView
Because your brain
sees things from
four basic viewpoints,
you always have four choices you
could make in any situation.
Why take direct steps to have your four brain
quadrants work together
co-operatively? When
your four brain quadrants share
ideas beneficially, you make
better decisions. You
consider all options. You
achieve a balanced outcome.
Your brain sees the answer to each question
you are asked in four different ways:
The Lower Left Brain Quadrant
The lower left brain quadrant’s
main
intention is always
regarding convenient, efficient,
rapid job completion.
Naturally likes to be in charge,
a respected leader.
Briefly and succinctly this
quadrant typically thinks and
insists on managing others.
Uses direct, very goal-oriented
statements and actions.
Cares more about getting the
work completed than how the work
got done. It is the
fastest processing brain
quadrant in the entire brain.
The Upper Left Brain Quadrant
This quadrant acts cautious, and
intellectual. Its
primary
intention is to
analytically answer questions
with accurate details to the
best degree of perfection.
From here, we meticulously
and accurately analyze details,
with the intention of
streamlining goal achievement.
However, remaining narrowly
focus on details while hoping
for a better (or perfect)
solution, can result in a
paralyzing inaction.
This quadrant cares about what
is right, and what is fair. Of
the 4 quadrants this one does
the third fastest processing.
The Upper Right Brain Quadrant
The upper right brain quadrant’s
main
intention is to feel
noticed and appreciated.
From here, we naturally
dramatize ideas we express.
We LOVE to feel appreciated by
people. Expressing natural
creative genius comes from this
quadrant. Easily creates all
kinds of new ideas, and amazing
stories. Adds ‘color’ to life,
expressing and competing through
drama, style, and the creative
arts. Of the 4 quadrants, this
is the second fastest processing
one.
The Lower Right Brain Quadrant
The lower right brain quadrant’s
main
intention is always
relationship and
feelings-oriented.
Acting loving, compassionate,
generous, sensitive,
sweet-natured, and considerately
toward others. This
quadrant loves to relate with
people and discuss topics which
are personally supportive or
nurturing. Patient and
caring this quadrant works well
as a group member, or
peacemaker. Of the 4 brain
quadrants, this quadrant does
the slowest information
processing.
When interacting
with others it is helpful to
understand and recognize their
preferred thinking style.
When you communicate with others
in THEIR thinking style, they
understand you clearly. A
BrainView survey will show you
the details of your own thinking
style, which allows you to more
easily recognize the ways you
can improve your own
interactions within your
personal relationships and your
working environment.
An example of
beneficially addressing the four
brain quadrants is clearly
demonstrated within The Relaxed
Dental Visits program, authored
by Susan Fox and myself. Designed
to allow dental patients to feel
calm, confident and relaxed in a
dental chair, the program
addresses each of the four
unique brain quadrants, by
providing each quadrant with
their own audio program.
Benefit your working and
personal relationships
by taking a BrainView Survey -
the results may surprise you!
Each of your 4
brain quadrants' individual
desires and intentions clearly
show within their own
individual thinking styles.
Awareness of your habitual
patterning can free you from
the past and allow you to
achieve your goals.
